ABOUT US

All our clothes are manufactured here in the UK, by a team of highly skilled garment technicians.

In the fashion industry, ‘petite’ refers to clothing made for women under 5’4. However, this definition fails to recognise women under 5ft tall who may still struggle to find petite clothing that fits. Therefore, we use the term ‘extra petite’ to denote clothing made, specifically, for women between 4’8-5ft.

Extra petite sits between regular 'petite' clothing and clothing designed for people of short stature.

We believe that using inclusive terminology is the first step towards change and it is our aim for ‘extra petite’ to become an industry standard term. You can learn more here.

The process of developing samples, and grading sizes, is one of the biggest costs to small brands. When developing our size range, we analysed real data from hundreds of survey respondents to identify the most popular sizes, which ended up being UK2-UK10.

We aim to become more inclusive as the brand grows and expand our size range as demand increases.

This article from Good on You provides a great explainer for the challenges facing small and sustainable brands when it comes to expanding their size range.

We believe that sustainable fashion starts with taking the best care of your clothes.
Our pieces are made from non-synthetic fabric, so need a little more love and care. To give your pieces a long and happy life, please wash at 30c on a delicate cycle. We also recommend placing clothes in a delicates bag before popping in the washing machine.
